Mission:
Along with trail enthusiasts nationwide, we celebrate National Trails Day® (NTD), to discover, learn about, and celebrate fitness and trails. All race routes include segments of Wisconsin’s Ice Age National Scenic Trail.

City of Trails 5K Run/Walk
The uniquely scenic and basically downhill course starts at SCF Middle School and follows asphalt paths though beautiful woodland, city streets lined with historic houses, and the last stretch via the Gaylord Nelson Riverwalk, to finish at the Overlook Deck.

Rock & River 10K Trail Run/Hike
The 10K Run/Hike starts simultaneously with the City of Trails 5K. 10K routes over rugged rock outcrops of Riegel Trail and forested footpaths of Zillmer Loop and Mindy Creek trail segments. The Indianhead segment, stretching north of Lion’s Park, is a smooth there and back following river views to Gaylord Nelson Riverwalk and the finish at the Overlook Deck. 90% of race route off-street.
